Police officers are attending an incident at an address in Swindon.

Four police vehicles were seen attending a house in Deburgh Street, Rodbourne, at around 6am this morning (18 October).

A local resident told Wiltshire 999s: “There were lots of police officers going in and out the house

“It looked like they were looking for things in the garden but I’m not sure, maybe they were just guarding the scene.”

Police are believed to have arrived prior to 6am, with many people waking up to their presence.

“They were all over the house and there were lots of police cars outside”, another local said.

Adding: “I think they were dealing with something serious so I didn’t want to go and ask what was happening.”

Wiltshire 999s understands a search was carried out but officers left once they were unable to locate what they were looking for.

Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment.
