Emergency services are currently at the scene of an ongoing incident in the Gorse Hill area of Swindon, with what is understood to be a woman on a roof.

Police officers, firefighters and paramedics are said to have been at Edinburgh Street just off Cricklade Road since before 6am this morning, 11 August.

Part of Cricklade Road and Edinburgh Street were closed, but have now reopened.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said that a female was initially arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace, but has been taken to Great Western Hospital.
