A shopper has been injured after a driver ploughed their car through an Asda storefront.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a building in London Road, Calne, at around 3.15pm on Monday (4 May).
A green MG MG4 demolished a metal bollard in front of a disabled parking bay outside Asda Express – before crashing through the shop’s front door.

The incident left a pedestrian shopping inside injured, with Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance medics providing treatment alongside ambulance crews.
Despite the dramatic scenes, the casualty didn’t suffer any significant injuries. However, they were taken to hospital for further care.
The driver of the MG also sustained injuries, understood to be minor.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called just after 3.15pm today to a report that a car had crashed into Asda in London Road, Calne.
“Emergency services are currently on scene dealing with two people who sustained injuries.
“Drivers were advised to avoid the area of London Road whilst the incident is dealt with.”
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service added: “We were called at 3:20pm today with reports of a vehicle collision on London Road, Calne.
“Three crews attended, from Calne and Chippenham (x 2), and on arrival found one car had hit the front door of a commercial building.
“Two casualties were reported and our stop was in at 4:15pm.”
