Forensics have descended on a Swindon home after a drugs factory was discovered.
Police were first spotted responding to an incident at the property in Ridge Nether Moor, Liden, in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
According to a local resident, a gang attempted to break into the house at around 2.30am – with officers racing to the scene following a 999 call.

It’s believed that on their arrival, they located a cannabis factory inside the targeted address.
Since their attendance the scene has been cordoned off, with police guarding it throughout the day.
At around 10am, forensics arrived to comb the residential property for evidence. They remained to carry out enquiries for many hours.

An ambulance was also noticed attending the scene this afternoon – with claims that somebody had fallen unwell inside the property. Specifics details are unclear at this stage.
Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment; the force had not responded at the time of publishing.
