Two uninsured vehicles were seized by volunteer officers in Chippenham during proactive road patrols.
Wiltshire Police’s Special Constabulary stopped the vehicles on Tuesday (4 November) as part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety across the county.
Both vehicles – including a blue Peugeot in Palmer Street – were found to be uninsured and were removed from the roads by officers.
The force said the Special Constabulary plays a key role in road policing.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Volunteers of Wiltshire Police’s Special Constabulary play a vital role in keeping our roads safe.
“They carry out proactive patrols, support local operations and tackle offences that put others at risk.”
