There are significant traffic delays on the A420 after a crash near Faringdon.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in the Buckland area of Oxfordshire at around 7am this morning (Monday).
Police and the ambulance service are in attendance, according to witness.
The road is reportedly closed in both directions, with motorists diverting via country roads – in the Gainfield and Charney Bassett area.
It’s causing heavy traffic through the nearby towns and villages. Google Maps show slow to standstill traffic.
Buses are also affected. The Stagecoach said that it’s S6 is delayed.
A spokesperson said: “Due to a road traffic accident on the A420 at Buckland, service 6 is currently experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
