A man’s been charged with three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a two-vehicle crash near Swindon late last year.
25-year-old Thomas Grey, of St Andrews Court, Wroughton, is due to appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Monday (19 October).
The charges follow a road traffic collision in Wharf Road, between Mill Lane and Salthrop Road, at around 7.30am on 30 December. Wiltshire Air Ambulance was sent to the scene and the road was closed for nearly seven hours for investigation work.
The crash involved a Mitsubishi Space Star – driven by the defendant Mr Grey and a Toyota Aygo being driven by a man in his 30s.
He is accused of seriously injuring two children by dangerous driving. He also faces the same charge in relation to the male driver of the Toyota, who was also said to have suffered serious injuries.
