A woman was punched with a knuckle duster in Trowbridge yesterday (Wednesday, 30 August).
Police were called to a disorder at an address in Soprano Way at around 10.30pm following reports of a serious assault having taken place.
Officers attended the scene and found a woman with severe injuries to her face. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
It’s believed the victim was punched with a knuckle duster during the incident.
Searches were carried out in the area for the suspects involved. A short time later, a connected vehicle was spotted and two dog units carried out a stop.
Police dogs Ross and Stan ensured that suspects couldn’t flee – with two males, aged 19 and 21, arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Both males remain in custody at Gablecross for questioning.
