A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed at a house in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to a disorder at an address in Penhill Drive at around 11pm yesterday (Tuesday, 27 August).
A man, aged in his 30s, was found to have sustained knife wounds to his hand – and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
The injured man was also arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident.
Both suspects – who are known to each other – remain in custody for questioning today (Wednesday).
A crime scene remains in place at the house, as forensics comb the address for evidence.
