A 73-year-old woman has died following a collision on Thamesdown Drive.
The incident happened on Wednesday 2 August and involved two cars.
The collision between a VW Polo and a Toyota Avensis took place on Thamesdown Drive at the junction with Queen Elizabeth Drive at approximately 11.45am.
A police spokesperson said: “Although formal of identification has yet to take place, we can confirm the name of the deceased is: Valerie Affleck (73) of Wyld Court, Blunsdon.”
“She passed away on Wednesday 23 August 2017.
“Please respect the family’s privacy at this sad time.
“Valerie was driving the VW Polo and the local driver of the Toyota was not injured.”
“Officers are appealing for witnesses to this road traffic collision, anyone who heard or saw what happened or has any information which can help with our enquiries is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.”
