Wiltshire Search and Rescue has been deployed in the hunt for a missing woman in Dorset this morning (Friday).
Officers are looking for 47-year-old Sian in Weymouth, with local volunteers sent to assist in the urgent operation to locate her.
She was last seen at around 1.30pm on Thursday (25 September) in the area of Bayard Road. There are serious concerns for her welfare.
Sian is described as five feet eight inches tall and of medium build with shoulder length hair and glasses.
She was believed to be wearing black leggings with black lace, a black top with autism written on it, bright trainers and carrying a tote bag.
Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Sian may have been upset recently and we are keen to find her to ensure she is safe and well.
“We have been carrying out enquiries to locate Sian with the assistance of the NPAS police helicopter and I would ask anyone who knows where she is, or has seen a woman matching her description, to please contact us.”
