Wiltshire Search and Rescue has this evening been deployed to assist its Gloucestershire colleagues after a man went missing with his dog late yesterday night (Friday).
Police were first told of 50-year-old Neil Timms’ disappearance at some point today, with officers immediately tasked to search for him. Concerns are growing for his welfare.
He was last seen at his home address in The Green, Quenington, Cirencester, at around 10pm. He’s believed to be travelling on foot with his brown cocker spaniel.
Neil is described as being white, five foot eight inches tall, with a bald head, clean-shaven face and of a stocky build. He may also be wearing glasses. He is possibly wearing a green jumper and green trousers.
Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 and quote incident 244 of 12 September.

Officers in Gloucestershire have spent the day involved in the operation to find Neil, including using their police quadbike to plough through demanding terrain near Bibury.
