Firefighters from Wiltshire and Oxfordshire fought a house blaze in Swindon today.
Fire crews from Stratton, Marlborough, Royal Wootton Bassett and Faringdon responded to reports of a fire at a private address in Lawn at around 2.45pm.
On arrival in Sandringham Road, they discovered a fire in a first-floor bedroom.
The blaze was extinguished by four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
They used two hose reel jets and a covering jet to put out the flames.
Once the fire was out, crews checked the roof and other areas of the home to check for any signs of fire spread.
