Wiltshire Air Ambulance was tasked to a serious collision in Cirencester this afternoon.
The three-vehicle crash happened on A419 Stroud Road near Dobbies Garden Centre at around 2.45pm and involved a Lotus, Suzuki and a Peugeot.
Specialist critical care medics from Wiltshire crossed the border to provide urgent medical treatment to one of the casualties – thought to be trapped in an overturned car.
At the time of the crash, a spokesperson from Gloucestershire Constabulary said: “Police were called to Stroud Road in Cirencester at 2.45pm following reports of a multi-vehicle collision.
“This took place near to Two Mile Lodge and involved a Lotus, Suzuki and Peugeot. One of the cars is believed to have rolled and the occupants are currently being assessed by paramedics.
“The road is currently closed at Football roundabout and Three Mile Bottom as one of the occupants is believed to be trapped in their vehicle.”
