A woman on a rooftop has been brought down safely by firefighters.
The vulnerable woman, who was on a roof in Sherston for nearly 24 hours, was rescued via a rope by fire crews from Trowbridge and Chippenham this afternoon.
All three emergency services had been at the scene since yesterday afternoon, 27 July.
A police officer at the scene said that the mental health crisis team didn’t attend.
Earlier today, a Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We are currently attending an incident in Sherston involving a vulnerable woman on the roof of a property.
“A number of local roads may be affected as emergency service vehicles come and go.”
