Two people have been detained after ditching a car and running from police officers in Swindon this afternoon.
The specialist police drone unit was called in to search for any outstanding suspects after the vehicle — a blue Fiat Punto — was abandoned in Guppy Street, Rodbourne, at around 5.15pm.
Two men were seen detained in the back of police cars in Jennings Street, but it is not clear whether they are under arrest at this time.
We are yet to understand why the males ran from the vehicle.
