Trowbridge road closed after teenager suffers head injury in crash

A 15-year-old girl has suffered a head injury after been hit by a car in Trowbridge.

The teenager was rushed to Bristol Children’s Hospital following the crash on Seymour Road at around 8am this morning, Friday 16 December.

A police spokeswoman said: “We received a call from the ambulance service at 8.18am this morning to a report of a 15-year-old girl being hit by a vehicle in Seymour Road.

“Road closures are in place at the junctions with Canal Road and Palmer Road.

“The child is being taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital by ambulance with a suspected head injury.”
