Three teens have been arrested after a stolen van was stopped by Wiltshire Police.
Officers sighted a vehicle believed to be travelling on cloned plates on the A4 heading towards Box shortly after 3am today (Friday).
The Ford Custom van, which had been stolen from the Avon and Somerset area, was stung in Box Road, at the junction with Westwoods.
A short time later the vehicle stopped in London Road East, Batheaston, where three males decamped.
One of the males were arrested a Taser-point on the balcony of a nearby home.
The three suspects, who are all aged in their late teens, were all arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and taken to custody.
Det Sgt Ted Roe from our Burglary Team said: “These arrests came about as a result of some excellent proactive work by our Neigbourhood officers and some great team work by our Roads Policing Unit and Armed Response officers who worked together to successfully safely stop the vehicle and arrest three suspects.”
