Three men and a woman have been arrested during drugs raids in Swindon.
Police, including firearms officers, executed warrants at two addresses in Bowleymead and Kennedy Drive, Eldene, early this morning (Tuesday).
A large amount of what is believed to be crack cocaine was discovered and seized. Phones, cash and a small amount of cannabis were also taken into evidence.
Three men, aged in their 30s and 40s, and a woman aged in her 50s, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A and B drug. All four suspects remain in custody for questioning.
The officer leading the investigation, PC Carty, said: “This was a very successful morning which has seen Class A and B drugs taken off our streets.
“Four people have also been arrested in connection with it and will now be questioned in custody.
“Community intelligence is vital in allowing us to conduct operations like this. We need to hear from the public as much as possible to enable us to build a full picture of what is going in within communities.
