A teenager has been arrested for rape after police were called to a house in Swindon.
A crime scene has remained in place at the property in Kingshill Road throughout the day following the serious incident early this morning (Friday).
Officers guarded the terraced home, close to the junction for William Street, while forensic investigation work was carried out.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that an 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
He remains in custody for questioning and enquiries into the incident at ongoing, a spokesperson for the force added.
The complainant, a female, is being supported by specially trained officers.
