Detectives are investigating the sexual assault of a teenage girl in Trowbridge.
The incident happened at approximately 9pm on 8 October near St Stephen’s Place.
The 15-year-old victim was inappropriately touched by a boy who is believed to be of a similar age.
Wiltshire Police said the girl was “extremely upset and shaken up as a result and is being supported by specialist trained officers”.
More than a month later, the force has appealed for witnesses to come forward or contact them if they recognise the male in the CCTV footage.
Det Con Deborah Laycock said: “We take reports of this nature extremely seriously and have been conducting extensive enquiries since the incident happened.
“We understand the suspect may be a child therefore we have taken steps to protect his identity however, we are hopeful that we may be able to gather information from the public from the image of his clothing.”
