A teenage girl has died following a ‘welfare’ incident in Trowbridge.
Emergency services were called the scene in Allen Road, off Frome Road, at around 8.20pm yesterday evening (Monday, 15 January).
Ambulance crews and police provided treatment, later assisted by Wiltshire Air Ambulance medics – with the helicopter landing at The Clarendon Academy.
Despite the best efforts of first responders, the teenage girl was sadly pronounced dead. Her exact age has not been confirmed.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said that officers responded to “reports of a concern for welfare”.
They added: “The coroners office has been informed and there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.”
