A teenage driver narrowly avoided hitting a quaint cottage in a Wiltshire hamlet.
The road traffic collision happened in Easton, near Corsham, shortly before midday today (Friday).
An orange Smart car, reportedly driven by an 18-year-old male, was involved in an impact with black Kia – containing a family who were visiting the area from London.
The Smart car span on impact, narrowly avoiding a quaint cottage on the single-track country lane – coming to rest at the front door.
An ambulance, ambulance car and fire crew from Chippenham attended the scene alongside police.
Luckily, no one suffered any notable injuries and the vehicles were recovered.
Local residents say the 60mph national speed limit for the road running through the hamlet needs to be lowered, with one describing the route as “notorious” for crashes.
