UPDATE: Woman fighting for her life after ‘hit and run’ crash in Swindon
A Swindon route is closed after a ‘pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash’.
Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision in Dorcan Way in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
A pedestrian was reportedly seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle – which is no longer at the scene.
They were treated in the road before being rushed to hospital for further care. Their condition is unknown at this time.
Police have launched a forensic collision investigation, which is likely to see the road closed for the foreseeable future.
Closures are in place between Edison Business Park / Morrisons and The Drive.
