A Swindon man has been named and charged with six crimes after his arrest a gunpoint.
Covert armed officers pounced on wanted Jack Parfitt in Queens Drive at around 3.30pm on Wednesday (29 October) following a manhunt spanning several months.
The 24-year-old suspect was wanted in connection with a number of alleged offences, with police remanding him in custody overnight.
He has been charged with six crimes and is due to appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday). They include:
▪ Aggravated burglary in Burghley Close, Swindon, on 6 April 2025 – attempting to inflict serious injury on a man with a bottle of Grey Goose vodka
▪ Attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent to do grievous bodily harm on a man on 6 April 2025
▪ Assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a woman on 6 April 2025 (x2)
▪ Possession with intent to supply 35 wraps of heroin on 29 October 2025
▪ Possession with intent to supply 41 wraps of crack cocaine on 29 October 2025
