Swindon car park cordoned off as detectives probe serious incident

UPDATE: Woman ‘seriously assaulted’ in attack by male suspect in Swindon

A Swindon car park has been cordoned off following a serious incident.

Detectives are probing an incident that took place in Dammas Lane, opposite Kioki nightclub, in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

The focus of the Old Town investigation appears to be a red car – which has been covered with a blue tent.

A crime scene is in place around the car park and an alleyway to The Planks is also closed.

Police are guarding the scene – with forensics expected to attend later today.
