A suspected gunman has been arrested after police raided a flat in Swindon.
Thames Valley officers swarmed Cottsway Court in Stratton on Thursday (5 September) as they searched for a man wanted in connection with a firearms incident.
The force said 24-year-old Jamie-Lee Dalton was arrested at the address on suspicion of possessing a gun with intent to cause fear of violence.
The man, of no fixed abode, is accused of threatening another male with a firearm in Milton Keynes on 27 August. The victim was not injured in the ordeal.
Dalton has since been charged with the offence and appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today (Friday). He was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at a crown court next month.
At the Swindon flat, officers located a small quantity of cannabis. A local man – who is not connected to the firearms incident – was given a community resolution.
