Firefighters have extinguished a serious fire at a takeaway in Swindon this evening.
Four fire engines responded to the incident at Asmin Pizza and Kebab on Rodbourne Road at around 7pm, as plumes of smoke billowed from the storefront.
An aerial appliance was used to check for fire on a thermal imaging camera.
This news comes just two hours after fire crews tackled a kitchen fire at The Dockle Farmhouse on the other side of town at around 5pm today.
Rodbourne Road remains closed at this time, but it’s not believed anyone was hurt.
