A driver’s been arrested after a short pursuit in Swindon ended with a crash.
Local officers were searching for suspects in relation to a theft overnight, when a white Volkswagen made off from them.
The vehicle was later located by roads policing officers and a pursuit was authorised.
A short time later, the car crashed and the occupants fled the scene on foot.
One person has been arrested for a number of offences, including driving whilst disqualified and driving while unfit through drugs.
