A serious incident in Corsham town centre saw an air ambulance tasked today (Monday).
Emergency services attended the scene in High Street, near the Post Office, at around 3.30pm.
Two ambulances, several ambulance response vehicles and at least seven police vehicles were in attendance.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance was also at the incident – touching down in Corsham Court for the charity’s critical care medics to provide additional urgent support.
The road was partially blocked for more than an hour. At 5pm, two police cars remained parked at the roadside, but no officers were present.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “At this stage, this is a medical incident and officers are assisting at the scene.”
The condition of the casualty involved is unknown at this time.
