A self-proclaimed rapper has been charged with four counts of raping a child.
26-year-old Damian Kinston appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday).
He faces four allegations of rape and three of assault by penetration of a child aged under 13.
The defendant, of Booth House, Swindon, did not enter pleas in relation to the charges.
Magistrates sent the case to Swindon Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing. He was released on unconditional bail until that upcoming hearing.
The alleged victim in this case has the lifelong right to anonymity. It is an imprisonable criminal offence to share any piece of information that could lead to the identification of the alleged victim.
