A roundabout near Wiltshire is blocked after a lorry overturned in a crash.
Emergency services were called to Bradford Road Roundabout on the A4 at Bathford at around 9.30am this morning (Thursday).
A tipper lorry appears flipped onto as the driver attempted to navigate the junction – spreading its waste load across the road.
Nobody is believed to have sustained any serious injuries, but the driver was left shaken.
The roundabout is partially blocked, with police directing traffic.
The A4 between the affected junction and Box is closed eastbound. Motorists are diverting via Bathford.
The incident is expected to continue for some hours while clean-up and recovery work is carried out at the scene.
Faresaver, the bus company, confirmed that their 231, X31, 271 and 272 services cannot turn left towards Box at the roundabout.
As a result, buses are diverting via Kingsdown. Stops between Batheaston and Rudloe are currently being missed.
