A road near Swindon has been closed following a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
Emergency services were called to the incident, involving a car and a motorcycle, on the B4553 Packhorse Lane at around 6.45pm this evening (Saturday, 26 February).
The country road is closed between Cricklade / Purton and West Swindon. It’s expected to remain shut into the night.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance touched down at Mouldon Hill Country Park, with paramedics being rushed to the scene in a 999 vehicle.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A road closure is in place on Packhorse Lane leading from Cricklade to West Swindon, following a collision involving a car and a motorcyclist.
“Officers were called to the scene shortly after 6.45pm.
“Colleagues from the ambulance service are also in attendance.
“Please avoid the area while the collision is cleared.”
