A Chippenham road has been closed following a crash involving a police vehicle.
Emergency services are attending the incident in A420 Marshfield Road, behind The Brunel pub, involving a police response car and dark coloured Pegeuot at around 9pm.
The National Police Air Service plane circled the town a number of times following the crash; it is not yet clear what its involvement in the incident was.
One witness claims to have seen a female police officer lying on the floor surrounded by colleagues following the road traffic collision. The ambulance service was in attendance.
