Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating an elderly man who has gone missing in Swindon.

Brian Hislop, who is 84 and suffers from dementia, was last seen in the town centre this afternoon and concerns are growing for his welfare.

He is described as white, with white hair, and is wearing a dark navy jumper, a short-sleeved purple checked shirt, light coloured grey/beige trousers, black shoes and carrying a black satchel bag.

Police would urge anyone who has seen him to call them on 999, quoting log 239 of today.
