Police have launched a probe after people were sprayed with a substance in Melksham.
Emergency services were called to reports of an assault involving a chemical in Pembroke Road at around 4.15pm on Saturday (21 March).
Wiltshire Police said a woman reported being approached by a man, who threatened to attack her. A substance in an aerosol-style can was sprayed.

Two fire crews were sent to the scene over concerns about hazardous materials, and the ambulance service sent one ambulance and an operations officer.
Police confirmed that four people were deemed possible victims in connection with the incident.
At least two people – a man and a woman – were reportedly sprayed with the substance, which is believed to have been red paint.
The force confirmed that an investigation into the assault was launched, with witnesses or anyone with information asked to call 101, quoting 54260034346.
Police have not said whether a suspect was identified or exactly what substance was used.
Emergency services remained present until around 6pm. Locals reported seeing a large number of 999 crews on scene at around 4.30pm.
