Police are attending an incident on a housing estate in Swindon this afternoon (4 October).

A police dog unit and several other police vehicles were spotted in Staverton Way at around 3pm.

One local resident noticed at least one unmarked police car, with officers walking to and from the vehicle wearing blue gloves.

It’s not yet clear what police are attending.

We’ve approached Wiltshire Police for comment.

UPDATE 7PM

Neighbours have suggested officers may have been conducting a drugs raid on a house in the street. It doesn’t appear as anyone has been arrested.

Wiltshire Police has not yet replied to our request for comment.
