A woman’s been handed a £1,000 fine after failing to self-isolate when she returned from abroad.
Police previously issued a warning to the woman when she was dealt with for other offences – including driving without insurance – during a traffic stop on 30 September.
This evening, officers attended her address in Great Bedwyn following a report made about people visiting despite her being required by law to self-isolate for 14 days under the coronavirus regulations.
On discovering visitors at the property, she was issued a fixed penalty notice of £1,000.
