A police helicopter is over Chiseldon in search of a missing woman this afternoon.
A number of police cars and an ambulance were parked in Church Road at around 1pm as they worked in the area.
Police officers could be seen on foot in Hodson Road as well as the Washpool nature reserve.
A description of the the missing person has not been released by Wiltshire Police at this stage.
