Passenger sought after Salisbury bus crash leaves woman hurt

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a bus in Salisbury.

Emergency services were called to Odstock Road just after 1.30pm on Monday (12th May) following reports of a collision near the turning for Rowbarrow.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, sustained injuries not believed to be serious. She was transported to hospital for further assessment.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to a female passenger who was travelling on the bus and left the scene before police arrived.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision involving a car and a bus on Odstock Road, Salisbury.

“The incident happened just after 1.30pm on May 12 near to the turning with Rowbarrow.

“The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be serious.

“We’d particularly like to speak to a female passenger on the bus who left the scene before police attended.”
