The parents of a teenage girl who died in Trowbridge have issued a heart-rending tribute.
Emergency services were called after 13-year-old Helena was found unresponsive at her home in the town on Monday 15 January.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance were among the many 999 responders who attempted to save her life. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a public statement, her mother and father – David and Masha – said: “With unspeakable sadness the time has come to tell you all that our beloved daughter Helena took her own life last Monday.
“We are sorry that we are causing you so much pain through this message as we know she was so deeply loved by everyone who met this bright burning spark of life over the last thirteen years.
“We are so touched by the immense love and support that we have already received and we hold you all deeply in our hearts.”
Following the tragic incident, Wiltshire Police confirmed that there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her passing.
