A Melksham woman has been named and charged with a string of five offences.
Chloe Shepard faces allegations of drug driving, driving whilst disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance on 17 September last year.
The 36-year-old, of Wessex Close, is currently on bail and due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court tomorrow (Friday 22 May).
Police stopped a Hyundai Tucson on the A3102 Westbrook Road, at Bromham, near Devizes – with the driver providing a blood sample to officers for testing.
She is now charged with having 32 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 10 micrograms.
It’s also claimed she had 440 micrograms of benzoylecgonine (a breakdown product of cocaine) per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 micrograms.
Charges also allege she had 6.7 micrograms of tetrahydrocannabinol (the psychoactive compound in cannabis) per litre of blood. The legal limit is 2 micrograms.
