A Swindon-born multimillionaire’s wife was left trapped in her brand new Ferrari for hours after an incident during Storm Isha last week.
Moniqe, who is married to former Michael Jackson bodyguard Matt Fiddes, only picked up the £320,000 motor days ago – on 12 January.
Now they face a £50,000 repair bill after the electric gates at their countryside mansion in Devon failed, closing on the expensive supercar.
The martial arts expert, with a net worth of £120 million, called an electrician – who restored power and freed his wife.
The news comes after Matt was reportedly ignored in a Ferrari showroom because he was wearing a tracksuit.
He said he took his business elsewhere, forking out over £600,000 on a Lamborghini for himself, and yellow Ferrari for Moniqe earlier this month.
Speaking about the purchase, he said: “Monique deserves it – she’s got to put up with me and my mad world.
“It’s true that behind every successful man, there is a hard working woman and behind the scenes, my wife has to support me running our companies and growing our property portfolio.
“Taking phone calls and working through the night as well as being an amazing mother to all my six children.”
