A woman has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Ashton Keynes.
The incident happened at around 7pm last night, 4 November, when the woman and her husband were walking along Spine Road East, near the Wickwater Lane junction.
Two cars collided and subsequently hit both pedestrians. The woman was airlifted to Bristol’s Southmead Hospital were she remains in a critical condition.
He husband also suffered injuries, which are thought to be minor.
