An ‘vial of liquid’ was uncovered when a man was found dead in a Swindon house.
Emergency services were called to Collett Avenue, off Northern Road, at around 4.30pm on Monday afternoon (21 January).
A man, aged in his 30s, was found unresponsive at the property and he was soon after pronounced dead at the scene.
A vial of liquid was located and the home was evacuated as 999 crews worked to establish what the substance was.
The street was cordoned off by police as an investigation was carried out.
Firefighters attended the incident and declared the area safe.
“The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
