A man denies sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Swindon town centre.
Appearing on video link from HM Prison Portland, William O’Driscoll, 40, pleaded not guilty to the attack at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today (23 December).
Kate Prince, prosecuting, alleged the defendant approached a 15-year-old girl before making sexual comments on 8 July this year.
It’s claimed he then proceeded to touch her waist and squeeze her neck, before his alleged victim told him to get off.
The teenager was said to be on her own in Swindon town centre at the time of the incident.
Magistrates accepted jurisdiction, setting a trial date for 4 July 2022.
