A man has died following a head-on collision in Wiltshire this afternoon (Friday).
It happened on The Avenue, near Wilton, at around 3.20pm.
A red Vauxhall Astra travelling towards Wilton been involved in a head on collision with a white Mercedes Sprinter minivan travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a man in his 50s, was declared dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
The driver and two children on board the Mercedes have been transported to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road remains closed while enquiries are carried out.
