A man has been charged with attempting to murder a woman in Calne.
Emergency services raced to Lawrence Drive following reports of what police have labelled a “domestic” at around 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon (2 December).
A woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to hospital with stab wounds. At the scene, a man was arrested by armed officers in connection with the attack.
62-year-old Martin Cundliffe, of Lawrence Drive, has been charged with attempted murder – and will appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday).
