A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to a serious assault at a property in Tadpole Garden Village at around 1.30am on Saturday (5 October).
A man, aged in his 20s, sustained stab wounds at the house and after receiving treatment from Wiltshire Air Ambulance medics, he was conveyed to hospital.
Wiltshire Police say his injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening.
“There is no further risk to the general public”, a spokesperson for the force said.
A man, aged in his 30s, has been charged with attempted murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Monday (7 October).
Unusually, the suspect has not been named at this stage over cited safety concerns.
Officers – including forensics – remained at the address for most of Saturday, but have since left the scene.
A second scene was also in place at a flat a short distance away, where the man was arrested around one hour after the attack.
