A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire in Swindon town centre.
Police were called to a blaze at the former Casbah nightclub in John Street at approximately 4.40am today.
A man in his 30s from Swindon has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent and remains in custody at Gablecross police station for further questioning.
Enquiries are currently ongoing, with forensics gathering vital evidence at the scene.
